Koorapati will oversee all tech innovation aspects at Mattel, including AI, shared platforms, software and hardware development, online security and privacy.
Speaking about efficiency improvements and leveraging global scale, DiSilvestro highlighted AI as a key focus for optimization, especially within the supply chain.
In Q2 2024, Mattel achieved $20 million in savings, progressing towards their 2024 savings target of $60 million.
